Oracle Technology Network Latin American Tour (OTN LA Tour) 2016 is done. I started my journey in Montevideo Uruguay, it was my first time there, and I had the opportunity to visit my good friends Nelson Calero and Edelweiss Kammermann. It was good to be there, I really liked, Nelson and Edel was waiting for me at the airport to picking me up, despite the time (10pm), I felt that warm welcome from them. After that we went to a dinner (yes, almost midnight [:)] ) and the next day I had a city Tour around Punta del Este, I visited many places there "The hand" that in spanish is wrong translated because people call that place "Los dedos", anyways, it is big fingers inside the sand. "The Eagle (El Aguila)" which is a big eagle in front of the beach, I knew "Globos marinos" and many different and new aquatic animals. I ate "Chorizo Uruguayo" with some sauces, it was really good! We also saw some Ferraris in a village called Beverly Hills, (yes but in Uruguay). The third and fourth day was the event, there were several attendees and all of them were active in the session, doing questions, giving ideas and so on. it was a very good group of attendees:

After the event Edel and Nelson took us to an Uruguayan restaurant where we had the best "Beaf the chorizo" I ever tasted and some more meat. I ate a lot of meat those days, oh man.... I want to come back! [:D]
Next stop was Argentina, this was new experience for me since from Uruguay I went to Argentina by Ferri, it was my first trip in Ferri, the trip took just a couple of hours and we arrived in a couple of squares from Hilton Hotel where all the Speakers were going to stay, we got the hotel around 9pm and Next day was the first day of the Event.

I didn't have sessions in the first day , both of my sessions were scheduled in the second day, anyways, I went the first day to the event and attended most of the sessions. After my two sessions in OTN Tour in Argentina I had some free time, I was invited to do a conference for students in Oracle Offices, I accepted, I love to share knowledge with the new generation of experts:

And at evening we had a really good dinner with all the leaders of Argentina Oracle Users Group, and guess what? More meat!! Uruguay and Argentina are two countries well known because of their meat, both countries have really really tasty meat.
My third Stop was Lima, Perú. I arrived around 9pm, and there was a long line in the airport since a flight was cancelled. I was waiting for around 1.5 hours in the line in Migration, Fortunately Enrique Orbegozo had patience and waited for me outside of the airport until I passed the line of Migration. Next day the OTN Tour in Perú started, there were several people attending the event, it was in a hotel, the event was elegant and the rooms had a lot of space to allocate even more people. I had a good group of attendees:
Next stop was my country!!! I was so happy to have a break in Guatemala, visit my family for a while, and friends. I arrived at Guatemala Sunday around 4pm, I was working with my team on the last details of the event, and on Monday (next day) the event started. We had a good event, it was also in a hotel, with big rooms, more than 150 people with experience on Oracle Products attended, I would like to thank all my team, because thanks to them this event was successful, Thanks to Cesar Hernandez, Julio Ayapan, Erick Navarro, Anibal García, Pablo Tum, Marco Azmitia. Here are some pictures:

After the event in Guatemala, All the speakers and organizers attended our dinner in a place where we can play golf while drinking :), it was good!! Carlos Sierra was playing there and he became master also in golf in a couple of minutes, the same for Alex Zaballa.
And my last stop was Pereira Colombia, it was in a place call "Eje Cafetero", the core of coffee in Colombia. You find in Pereira the best coffee in every shop, all the malls, even in the street, all this city have a really good coffee. I had two sessions here, and Thank you to Giovanna Bohorquez Paez for giving me the privilege to have the main room with all the attendees for my second session, the session that closed the OTN Tour. After The event we had a good dinner with all the Speakers where Giovanna gave us a bag with a log of gifts inside, we had fun in that dinner.
Special Thanks to Oracle ACE Program, Oracle Technology Network and thank you OTN Uruguay, Argentina, Perú, Guatemala and Colombia, It was a great tour!!
