This is my first time in Netherlands, I came to attend Oracle ACE Hackathon 2016 and also AMIS' conferences, I landed on May 30 in Amsterdam after 14 hours of my flight and then I moved to Oegstgeestwhere the event will take place, I took some rest while everything was getting ready to start. I had free May 31 and I took advantage of that in order to visit some places in Amsterdam. I love the weather, I really like when a city is cold but not too cold and Oegstgeest's weather is exactly what I like, no more, no less.
I went to Zaanse Schans, a beautiful place where I saw some Windmills as you can see below:
After that I moved to Volendam to taste some seafood and also I tasted old chess and young chess (0.5, 1, 2 and 3 years old), then to Delft where I saw nice city. I like this country, the cheese, wine, traditions, etc.
Then the third day the Oracle ACE Hackathon started, this hackathon was organized by Oracle OTN and I had the opportunity to meet with my fellows ACE Directors:
...And in the forth day AMIS' conferences started, I had attended so far the following conferences:
Patrick Barel: Temporal Validity
Keynote: The future of cars, robots and humans by Maarten Steinbuch
Toon Koppelaars: Bloom Filters
Jonathan Lewis: "Don't do it"
I would like to thank to Oracle ACE program for this opportunity to attend such great event in a beautiful country.
To finish, a picture with two good friends and also ACE Directors from India, Sai and Biju:
